At The Bombay Lab, every fragrance is crafted with care and attention to detail. Due to the personal nature of our products, we follow a carefully defined return and refund policy.

1. Return Eligibility

Fragrances are non-returnable and non-exchangeable once delivered. However, we will gladly assist in the following cases:

  • You received a damaged or leaking product
  • You received a wrong item
  • Your order is incomplete or missing items

Requests must be raised within 48 hours of delivery.

2. Non-Returnable Conditions

We do not accept returns in the following cases:

  • Product has been used, sprayed, or tampered with
  • The seal is broken
  • The request is based on personal preference (e.g., not liking the fragrance)

Fragrance is a highly personal experience, and we encourage customers to choose carefully before purchase.

3. How to Request a Return / Replacement

To initiate a request, please email us with:

  • Order number
  • Clear photos/videos of the product and packaging
  • Brief description of the issue

Our team will review and respond within 1 – 2 business days.

4. Return Process

If your request is approved:

  • We will arrange a reverse pickup (where available)
  • If not serviceable, you may be asked to ship the product to us

The product must be:

  • Unused
  • In original packaging
  • With all labels intact

5. Refunds

Once the returned product is received and inspected:

If approved:

  • Prepaid orders: Refund will be processed to the original payment method
  • COD orders: Refund will be processed via bank transfer

Timeline:

  • Refund initiation: 3 – 5 business days after approval
  • Bank processing time: 5 – 10 business days

6. Shipping Charges

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable
  • Return shipping will be covered by us only in approved cases of damage or incorrect delivery

7. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled only before dispatch
  • Once shipped, cancellations are not possible

8. Refused or Undelivered Orders

If an order is:

  • Refused at delivery
  • Undelivered due to incorrect address

The order may be returned to us, and:

  • Re-shipping charges may apply
  • Refund (if applicable) will be processed after deducting shipping costs

9. Quality Check

All returned items undergo a quality inspection. We reserve the right to:

  • Approve or reject refund requests
  • Decline returns that do not meet eligibility criteria
